11/28/12 - Decorating The Christmas Tree

The kids are always very excited to help decorate the Christmas tree.  We don't have a fancy manicured tree that's all perfect.  We have lots of ornaments the kids have made and picked out themselves.  They always love to talk about which ornaments are their own.

11/22/12 - Thanksgiving

We had a nice small Thanksgiving.  Grandma Sue came over and our little Texas family set a nice table.  We each wrote down all the things we were thankful for and rolled them up and put them in a clear glass bottle with a cork.  We will read them again in a few years.  Our last Texas Thanksgiving :(

11/19/12 - Lake Conroe

 We took a family day trip up to Lake Conroe and of course we brought some of Kennedy's friends.  We had a good BBQ lunch and made some smores.  The boys were obsessed with the fire.

 Then we went down to play on the beach and do some fishing.

Kennedy and her friends paddled all over the lake for hours.  They did come in long enough to let Drew have a short turn in the raft.
