Kennedy had the best teacher ever this year, Mrs. Smylie. Under her direction, Kennedy excelled. Mrs. Smylie also has type 1 diabetes and they both had the same insulin pump. Kennedy loved having a teacher who understood exactly what she goes through every day. At the 5th grade graduation ceremony Kennedy got the gold medal in reading and got a special award for having straight A's for the entire year. We are so proud of her wonderful last year at Kuehnle Elementary School.
