It's hard to go anywhere in the Salt Lake Valley where you aren't able to see the enormous copper mine carved out of one of the surrounding mountains. I decided I wanted to take my kids up to the mine so they could see exactly what goes on up there. It's the largest man made object that can be seen from space and it supplies most of the copper to the USA.
After the mine I wanted to take the kids to play at one of the parks that I loved as a kid in Bingham Canyon, Copperton Park.
After returning home from our copper mine adventures we decided to go to the Herriman City Beach for some water fun. Another long day of learning and fun.
